Sir, – I have just heard Pat Rabbitte, in a radio interview, say that “one uses the theatre of parliament as best one can”.
Recent events in our parliament would, I think, be more related to the Theatre of the Absurd which, in one definition, is described as using “disjointed, repetitious and meaningless dialogue, purposeless and confusing situations, and plots that lack realistic or logical development”. – Yours, etc,
