Madam, - It's time for Enda Kenny to relinquish the leadership of Fine Gael. He is a decent, sincere person and politician. He has significantly improved his party's Dáil representation. He has also greatly improved his own Dáil performance, coming from a very low base indeed.
However, it is clear from his pre-election TV debate with the Taoiseach and his recent exchanges with Brian Cowen that a Fine Gael heavyweight with charisma is badly needed.
