Sir, – Healthcare workers are not unreasonably seeking compensation for the exceptional effort they have made throughout the pandemic. I suggest that part of that compensation package might be in the form of a voucher to be spent in all sectors of the hospitality sector.
It should be tax free to the recipient and would provide a much-needed nationwide fillip to the sector which has suffered most during the pandemic. – Yours, etc,

Sir, – Many accolades of thanks have been bestowed upon frontline workers for their hard work, many of whom are now vaccinated. While the hard work continues, there is much talk of showing a token of gratitude to these workers. For many of us, allowing golf to resume would be the biggest thank you of all. – Yours, etc,
