Madam, – Sad to see the couple “trashing” a beautiful wedding dress (Home News, August 23rd).
I had hoped this silly idea had died along with the Celtic Tiger.
For couples with sense – and generosity – the Society of St Vincent de Paul is running a wedding appeal asking newly-weds to donate wedding dresses, general wedding attire, veils, jewellery and unwanted gifts to local “Vincent’s” charity shops. – Yours, etc,
