Sir, – Regarding the e-voting machines fiasco: why, oh why, are all those who were involved in recommending and in taking the executive decisions to go ahead with electronic voting – without, obviously, attaching the necessary cast-iron safeguards – not incurring some or all of the €55 million (and counting) lost by the State as a result? Their actions have left taxpayers footing the increasing bill. Question: does the buck stop with anybody in this country? – Yours, etc,
