Madam, - In at least one respect, Kathy Sheridan has left her journalistic scepticism behind her, and swallowed David McWilliams's burgeoning propaganda about himself. He was, she informs us, the coiner of the term "Celtic Tiger" (Magazine, October 1st).
But Kevin Gardner used the term, in a Morgan Stanley "Euroletter" on the Irish economy, back in 1994. Did David McWilliams's coinage predate that? I doubt it. - Yours, etc,
