Women and the Church

Madam - It's good to hear (June 11th) that Monica Barber is a dynamic Catholic woman, but why is she so critical of women ministers of the Eucharist?

I think most Mass-going women (and men), possibly less dynamic than she is, find ourselves having to concentrate so much on the wonder of the Eucharist, and our own weaknesses, that we never notice, much less worry about, the Eucharistic minister's sex, age or status. - Yours, etc.,
