The workplace landscape continues to evolve at an unprecedented pace, shaped by innovation, technology and the ever-changing needs of employees. As we reflect on the past year and look ahead, one thing remains clear: organisations that prioritise trust stand out as the true leaders of today and tomorrow.
This is exactly what we aim to spotlight through our Best Workplaces recognition. By conducting the rigorous Best Workplaces assessment, we gather valuable insights from employees across organisations of all sizes and industries in Ireland. Through the Great Place To Work survey, covering 17 key areas – from career development and wellbeing to recognition and teamwork – more than 82,000 employees across Ireland have shared their experiences over the past year. Their feedback reveals the organisations that are truly excelling in fostering exceptional workplace cultures.
In this year’s report, we celebrate those who are not only adapting to change but thriving in it. These companies are paving the way for workplace cultures that empower employees, foster collaboration and embrace the future of work with open arms. They understand that success is built on the foundations of belonging, support and the shared ambition to create environments where everyone can flourish.
Wellbeing has taken centre stage in workplace discussions, and for good reason. A healthy, engaged workforce drives innovation, productivity and long-term success. The best workplaces recognise that investing in their people – whether through mental health support, professional growth opportunities or flexible working arrangements – leads to stronger teams and more resilient organisations. True employee wellbeing goes beyond perks and policies; it’s about fostering a culture where individuals feel valued, supported, and empowered to bring their best selves to work each day.

Technology, particularly artificial intelligence (AI), continues to reshape how we work. The future of work is here, and the best workplaces are leveraging AI not just for efficiency but as a tool to enhance human potential. From streamlining workflows to fostering creativity, AI has the potential to free up employees for more meaningful, strategic contributions. The key lies in striking the right balance: leveraging technology while ensuring that human connection, empathy and trust remain at the heart of workplace culture.
Connection and purpose
Amid these advancements, the most successful organisations understand the importance of fostering a workplace where employees feel a strong sense of connection and purpose. When employees feel valued and supported in their roles, they’re more engaged, motivated and collaborative, bringing their whole selves to work and contributing their best ideas and perspectives to drive progress.
As we recognise this year’s Best Workplaces in Ireland, we applaud them for embracing these principles, setting new standards for workplace excellence. Their commitment to wellbeing and innovation, and fostering cultures of purpose and belonging, is shaping the future of work in a way that benefits not just their employees, but society as a whole.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank my team-mates at Great Place to Work, whose dedication and passion for building better workplaces continue to make a meaningful impact. Their efforts help ensure that organisations across Ireland can create environments where people thrive.
Congratulations to all who are leading the way. Your commitment to excellence is truly inspiring.
