Last time you took a golf cart and why?

Palmerstown House last Friday because everyone had to - it was a shotgun start. Never again - running up and down like an orang-utang with an armful of clubs all day because they wouldn't let us off the paths in the carts.

On Friday last at Palmerstown House at the Jason Clark Charity Golf Classic - see previous question.

The British Open at St Andrews, the home of golf; but for me the World Matchplay should be a major - the most exciting form of the game.

Ideal golfing fourball: who and where?

Jack and myself against Christy and Sil - at the European Club with Pat Ruddy as the referee.

One last round on earth: where would it be?

Beautiful Ballyconneely, Connemara.

Ralph Lauren or Lyle & Scott?

Wha'?

Is the Titleist ProV1 worth the extra expense?

It is when Dickie's paying for them.

Best golf-club food. Where?

Powerscourt or Baltray - it'd be a gimme either way.

Eight iron

Favourite club in times of trouble

Hollystown in the top corner with the Barrys.

Parkland or links?

Links definitely.

Must-see golfing holiday destination?

South Africa.

Hidden gem?

Wouldn't change a thing.
