THE Margin has heard of some exotic acquisitions in its time, but was intrigued by Adare's purchase this week of the grandly named Kalamazoo Security Print. Kalamazoo's origins, for those who take an interest in such matters, can be traced back to the native Americans (or red Indians for our less PC readers), hence the Indian head dress used as the companies logo.deal together with Adare's Nelson Loane and Peter Lynch, believes this is the first time an Irish company has been involved in buying a business with such origins. However, he is less forthcoming when asked if he has met any cowboys in his 22-year career in the business.
