AUSTRALIAN loose head prop Richard Harry, who played against Ulster at Ravenhill on Saturday and in the test against Scotland nine days ago, is out of the tour because of a broken thumb and is returning home. The tourists have sent for Dan Crowley to join the party and he is expected to arrive tomorrow.
Harry finished the match against Ulster, but medical examination and X-ray confirmed the serious nature of the injury and that he would not be able to play again on the tour.
Meanwhile both Leinster and Australia yesterday named their teams for the match under the lights at Lansdowne Road tomorrow night and Munster also announced their team to meet the tourists at Thomond Park tomorrow week. Number eight Michael Brial is the only member of the Wallabies team who played against Ulster included in their team, but Jason Little and Pat Howard, both recovered from injuries, are in the side, as are scrum-half Sam Payne and number eight Owen Finegan, who played against Scotland. Brett Robinson, who came in as a temporary replacement against Ulster, will lead the team as he did against Connacht.
Leinster make four changes from the side that defeated Pau in the European Cup, but three of those are enforced because of the unavailability of scrum-half Niall Hogan, and props Henry Hurley and Paul Wallace. Hogan and Wallace are in the Ireland side for next Saturday's international and Hurley is a replacement and they are not being released. Ciaran Clarke returns at full-back in place of Peter McKenna; Alain Rolland is at scrum-half for Hogan, and Paul Flavin and Angus McKeen come in to fill the prop forward positions.
Munster, with their international squad players available after missing the match against Western Samoa when the province had to field what was a virtual second XV, revert to the side that defeated Wasps but lost to Toulouse in the European Cup. The team includes four players who will be playing in the international next Saturday. They are Dominic Crotty, Gabriel Fulcher, Anthony Foley and David Corkery.
