Champions' League previews GROUP F: Porto v Real Madrid: Porto's defender Jorge Costa joined Russian midfielder Dmitri Alenitchev (thigh) on the injury list after bruising a knee in training and Angolan defender Pedro Emanuel is likely to take his place.
Real Madrid will be missing David Beckham who injured the sole of his right foot during Saturday's 2-0 league defeat against Valencia. Club captain and joint top-scorer Raul was left out of the provisional squad due to a hip injury, but was then included after passing a late fitness test on Tuesday. Marseille v Partizan Belgrade: Marseille could be without Senegal defender Habib Beye and mdifielder Brahim Hemdani, arguably the best two players in their team's 4-2 defeat by Real Madrid. Beye has a broken rib while Hemdani has a thigh injury. Partizan face a goalkeeping crisis as Ivica Kralj is still sidelined with a knee injury while reserve keeper Djordje Pantic has a twisted ankle.
GROUP H: Celta Vigo v AC Milan: Celta coach Miguel Angel Lotina faces some serious selection problems. Central midfield pairing Jose Ignacio and Peter Luccin are both suspended and former Arsenal defender Silvinho is doubtful because of an ankle injury. Milan striker Filippo Inzaghi looks set to start after making a rapid recovery from a neck injury while midfielder Gennaro Gattuso starts a two-match ban after being red-carded against Ajax and should be replaced by Massimo Ambrosini. Ajax v Bruges: Ajax coach Ronald Koeman is expected to make only one change to the side who thrashed Willem II Tilburg 6-0 on Sunday, with play-maker Rafael van der Vaart coming in for Wesley Sneijder. Bruges should start with the defence-minded side who beat Beveren 3-0 at the weekend after two late goals. Forwards Sandy Martens and Andres Mendoza are both suspended after being sent off against Celta Vigo.
