Downpatrick preview: Barry Geraghty returns from suspension at Downpatrick today with his first century of winners in Ireland firmly in sight. The former champion needs just two more to reach the landmark 100, and his three rides this afternoon include the topweight What Odds in the Ulster National.
But What Odds, who races in the Monty's Pass colours, has been pulled up in his last two starts and has to concede chunks of weight; the concession to Mr Ventura may be beyond him.
But Geraghty looks to have an A1 chance of scoring on Best Wait in the Mares Beginners Chase. The consistent seven-year-old found only Light On The Broom too good at Thurles and she is taken to account for Fiddlers Bar and Younevertoldme.
Winner Take All should have no difficulty living up to his name in the bumper, considering he was just off the Cheltenham contender Templelusk at Punchestown.
Christy Roche could also take the Opportunity Maiden with The Kop End.
