GAELIC GAMES:TIPPERARY CORNER back Michael Cahill will find out today whether he will be able to face Kilkenny in Sunday's All-Ireland final after suffering an injury at training last night in Thurles.

In the Premier County’s final training spin before the meeting with the Cats, the Thurles Sarsfields player went over on his ankle and sat out the remainder of the session.

Tipperary’s medical staff attended to the defender and indications from the camp last night were mixed.

County board PRO and team liaison officer Ger Ryan, however, is confident the 22-year-old will line out on Sunday. “Michael seemed to be fine,” said Ryan. “I wouldn’t see any cause for concern.”
