TYRONE/SF Final: Peter Canavan inspired Errigal Ciarain to their fifth Tyrone senior football title in 10 years with a brilliant second half goal at Omagh.

His super strike came just four minutes after Martin Corcoran had netted for outsiders Killylogher to threaten a major shock.

Errigal led by 0-5 to 0-3 at half-time, but Killyclogher made an inspired start to the second half. Ciaran Carland converted two frees to level the scores, and in the 12th minute Corcoran punched a Rory Meenan cross to the net.

That was the spark so badly needed to ignite the contest, and how Errigal, and Canavan, responded.Within four minutes the former Allstar hit an unstoppable shot to the net from 15 yards.

Back came Killyclogher, substitute Niall McFadden and another Carland free brought the sides level with six minutes to play. But Mark Harte's third converted free eased Errigal back in front, and skipper Eoin Gormley's late point sealed the title.
