HARTY CUP QUARTER-FINALS: Charleville CBS 1-12 Nenagh CBS 2-6:CHARLEVILLE CBS survived a late rally to progress yesterday. Nenagh hit only one point from play and could have stolen the win but Jason Forde's 21-yard free was deflected for a 65 in the last 10 minutes.
Pa O’Callaghan was top scorer for Charleville with seven points, one from play.
At half-time Charleville led 0-7 to 0-3, went on to lead 1-8 to 0-3 after 39 minutes and looked to be cruising after Dean Copps goaled. Within a minute Nenagh’s Forde cracked home the first of his goals and hit a second after his missed free effort.
