Clare 1-20; London 2-6: Clare brought their campaign to an end with only a second win, when they dismissed London in Ennis yesterday.
The home side began decisively against a big wind, and enjoyed a 0-6 to 0-0 lead after 11 minutes.
Former Clare panellist Paul Hehir landed a free for the visitors and two further scores kept them in the hunt but a good Clare spell ensured they led by 0-9 to 0-4 at the break.
The exiles did pull a goal back through Patrick Lynott after 54 minutes. Odran O'Dwyer then scored Clare's goal and although Paddy Quinn got a goal back, by then the game was over as a contest.
