Darren Clarke and Lee Westwood have been named on the European team to play Asia in next year's Royal Trophy, organisers said on Monday.
Members of Europe's 2006 Ryder Cup winning team, Clarke and Westwood were also part of Seve Ballesteros' line-up last year.
Clarke, who partnered Westwood in last year's victory over Asia, said in a statement: "Lee and I have been through a lot together, and we have learned how to tough it out. We are very proud of our record as partners.
"Nothing less will be good enough this time, because the Asian players are bound to be very hungry for a win."
Europe won the inaugural Royal Trophy in 2006 by just two points but returned a year later with a far stronger team to thrash Asia 12-1/2 to 3-1/2.
Westwood said he was delighted to be selected again.
"I jumped at the chance to go back," he said.
"It was a tremendous opportunity to gauge the state of your game in a competitive environment, because match play encourages you to take a few more risks.
"We always play to win. It will be no different this time, and I can't wait to see what Asia will throw at us."
The contest features singles, foursomes and fourballs and will be played at the Amata Springs Country Club in Chonburi, east of Bangkok, from Jan. 11-13.
Asian captain Naomichi "Joe" Ozaki of Japan has so far named compatriots Hideto Tanihara and Toru Taniguchi on his team.
