GROUP G: Spain's Deportivo La Coruna qualified for the second phase after coming from behind to beat AC Milan 2-1 at the San Siro.

The result was Milan's first home defeat in the competition since December 1996 and ended an 11 match unbeaten run at their home stadium in the Champions League, although it had little import for the Italians who still finished top of the group.

Danish striker Jon Dahl Tomasson put Milan in front with a 34th minute header but the Spaniards equalised in the 58th minute with a spectacular long-range strike from Diego Tristan.

Deportivo's Dutch forward Roy Makaay then grabbed the winner in the 70th minute with a clinical finish after racing onto a long ball forward from Amavisca.

Earlier, midfielder Robert Kovac and Hasan Salihamidzic scored for Bayern and a Fink own goal and a Dagui Bakari strike had the side's level at 2-2.

GROUP H: Lokomotiv Moscow cruised into the second group stage with a 2-0 victory over FC Bruges in their final group encounter.
