AN angry Bray Wanderers manager Pat Devlin blasted his players after his side were humiliated by Derry City at the Brandywell on Saturday night. "We were outclassed in every department add our application was disastrous," declared Devlin.
But despite Bray's bottom position in the Premier Division, Devlin refused to give up hope and insisted that his aims at the Carlisle Grounds are long term.
Derry skipper Peter Hutton, who netted twice in Bray last week, equalled that feat on Saturday night with goals in the 10th and 39th minutes.
Striker Gary Beckett squeezed a goal in between Hutton's brace, scoring in the 28th minute while man of the match Liam Coyle, curled a spectacular shot to the net in the 70th minute to give the home side an unassailable 4-0 advantage.
Bray's diminutive centre forward Kieran Tarzan O'Brien clawed a goal back in the 74th minute, but Derry had the final say when their on loan midfielder Andy Ramage, drove a 20 yard shot to the net following a defensive lapse in the 77th minute.
