League of Ireland Premier Division/Bohemians 1 Drogheda United 1:Though Drogheda escaped from Dalymount Park last night with a share of the spoils, Paul Doolin and his men will be more concerned about the wellbeing of full back Simon Webb, who was taken to hospital with chest pains.

The former Bohemians player left the field at half-time, complaining of chest pains and was immediately transferred to the Mater hospital.

On the field the away side snatched a point thanks to an own goal from defender Owen Heary after the Dublin side had dominated throughout.

Neither set of fans had much to get excited about in the opening quarter of the game. John Paul Kelly sending a tame shot goalwards on six minutes.

Kelly went closer three minutes later after Dan Connor in the Drogheda goal spilled a McCann shot before pouncing on Kelly's rebound.

The goal arrived in the 31st minute, magically crafted by the diminutive Kelly, who burst through the Drogheda rearguard before releasing Ryan McCann on the right to coolly slot home.

Despite the class of the incisive run, the goal owed much to the rashness of Drogheda captain Stuart Byrne. Booked moments earlier for needlessly kicking the ball away, Kelly ghosted by Byrne with the Drogheda man afraid to make the necessary challenge.

The Boynesiders were thrown a lifeline in the 50th minute when Gavin Whelan's cross was unwittingly turned into his own net at the back post by Heary.

Bohemians were awarded a penalty on 57 minutes after Kelly breezed by a host of defenders before being upended in the box by Connor.

The goalkeeper receiving a booking for his efforts.

Former Arsenal and Falkirk midfielder Stephen O'Donnell stepped up only to see his weak kick comfortably saved by Connor.

Sean Connor's men almost snatched it at the death only for some heroic defending by Jason Gavin and Graham Gartland to block Neil Fenn's goalbound effort.
