Sligo SF final Curry 0-11 Eastern Harps 0-8 Curry bridged a 31-year gap with a well merited win over defending champions Eastern Harps in the rain at Markievicz Park yesterday.
Former Sligo county player Paul Durcan played a big part in the victory, squaring the game at 0-7 apiece in the 47th minute, and signalling a purple patch for the south county side who went on to score four unanswered points to claim the title.
