The Kingstown Cronies and the Castletroy Colleens will contest the final of the Aer Rianta Duty Free Ladies golf championship after last week's qualifiers at St Helen's Bay, Enniscorthy and Rosslare. The Kingstown team of Catherine O'Sullivan, Merryn Kehoe, Marie Igoe and Collette Cummins scored 250 points to win from the Tribes while the second week's winners were the Colleens' Jean Basheer, Aileen Hickey, Dorothy Ward and Audrey Smith, who shot 248 points - four better than the Great Southern Comfort team. The best of the locals were the Rosslare team. Led by Lady Captain Margaret Lacey, Marie Byrne, Mary Flynn and Sheila Doyle, they scored 251 points. The final will be played in Killarney next April.
