The FAI will decide on Monday afternoon where the first round replay between Belgrove and Finn harps is to take place.

The Dublin club have already been informed that, subject to certain conditions with which they have already complied, they can stage the game at their ground in Clontarf at 1.45 p.m. next Wednesday but Finn Harps are disputing the legality of the decision, arguing that the non-league outfit opted to surrender home advantage in the replay and that no mechanism for changing that decision exists under the rules of the competition.

As of yet Finn Harps have yet to be informed of any proposed kick off time for the replay and manager Charlie McGeever feels that they have been very poorly treated by the association. "If the position, as we understand it to be at the moment, is confirmed on Monday, though, we'll be taking whatever action we need to discover the basis on which this decision has been taken because we still do not believe that there is a basis for it in the rules."
