KIERAN FALLON is riding in great form and he registered his 150th success of the year when steering Cyrano's Lad to victory in the Shepherd Sprint Handicap at York yesterday. The jockey had earlier landed the opener on Bowled Over.

"I might put him in the Stewards' Cup now and we'll be hoping for a drop of rain at Goodwood," said Chris Dwyer, trainer of Cyrano's Lad.

Achilles Heel is bound for the Ascot Stakes next week after comfortably justifying favouritism in the Monks Cross Apprentice Stakes.

Celeric remains one of the front runners for the Newcastle Brown Ale Northumberland Plate despite being edged out by a short head by Corradini in the International Factors Handicap.
