FAI Cup Third round/ Preview: Shelbourne manager Pat Fenlon doesn't believe Derry City's ongoing Uefa Cup adventure will blur their focus ahead of tomorrow's tie of the third round at Tolka Park (6.30pm).

"I don't think it matters, because we've been there ourselves when we drew Deportivo," said Fenlon. "They have a lot of experienced players there; it's not as if they've loads of kids."

Though he has defender Colin Hawkins fit again, leading scorer Jason Byrne remains sidelined with a pelvic problem.

Derry remain without Peter Hutton and Killian Brennan while winger Paddy McCourt, who missed Thursday's game with Gretna, may be ruled out again. Ciarán Martyn, Kevin Deery and Gary Beckett, who all started on the bench on Thursday, are likely to return to the starting 11.

Injuries, ineligibility and dubious form give St Patrick's Athletic a worry or two ahead of facing in-form Dundalk at Richmond Park. Keith Fahey and Mark Rooney are cup-tied. John McDonnell must wait on regular defenders John Frost (thigh) and Stephen Brennan (hamstring). First Division Dundalk are as good as at full strength with the cup-tied Christy Doran their only absentee.

Under-21 manager Billy Barrett and coach Eoin Killackey take charge of managerless Limerick FC at UCD tonight and they'll hope reserve goalkeeper John Healy is fit to start as Noel Mooney is injured and new signing Austin O'Neill is ineligible. UCD are without the suspended Gary Dicker while fellow midfielder Paul Crowley is cup-tied and left back Keith Doyle is out with a broken wrist.

Sligo Rovers have winger Brian Cash cup-tied, though striker Paul McTiernan is fit to face Bray Wanderers. Bray have Colm Tresson, Philip Keogh and Robbie Doyle back from injury and suspension, but Chris Deans, Gary Rogers and Lee Roche are cup-tied.
