Fermanagh rout rivals

Fourteen-man Fermanagh saw off their Ulster championship bogey side at Enniskillen

Fourteen-man Fermanagh saw off their Ulster championship bogey side at Enniskillen. Debutant full-forward Sean Quinn bagged two goals, in the second minute and six minutes before half-time, and a rare error by Dermot McCabe on his goal line in the 12th minute also allowed Stephen Maguire to fist to the net, helping the home side into a 3-9 to 0-3 half-time lead.

The Fermanagh selectors responded well to Clive Fitzpatrick's dismissal in the 41st minute for a second yellow card - they brought on Liam McBarron at midfield, releasing Paul Brewster to the defence. Cavan half back, Anthony Forde, was also dismissed late in the game.
