BARRY HILLS looks to have found a decent opportunity for his old campaigner Further Flight at Newbury today in the Quantel Aston Park Stakes.

Even at the age of 11, Further Flight is no back number. Despite doubts over his ability to handle the bottomless ground at Chester last time out in the Ormonde Stakes, this game performer turned in another sterling effort, going down by only three quarters of a length to Peter ChappleHyam's progressive Royal Court.

Further Flight faces some stiff opposition today in the shape of promising young stayers Harbour Dues and Persian Punch. But with Michael Hills on board as usual and with the stable in excellent form of late, the Hills father and son team can deliver the goods.
