David Moran is back in the Kerry team for Sunday’s trip to Clones to play Monaghan. A win would position Éamonn Fitzmaurice’s team to reach the Division One semi-finals for the first time in four years. Moran got injured after the county’s last defeat against Roscommon seven weeks ago.

In the meantime Kerry have recorded wins against Donegal, Down and Mayo. Moran replaces injured captain Bryan Sheehan. The only other change sees the continuing rotation of the goalkeepers with All-Ireland winner Brian Kelly coming in for current All Star Brendan Kealy.

Named in the replacements is Paul Geaney, who is just back from injury. Alan Fitzgerald returns to the bench after suspension. Aidan O’Mahony will captain the side.

Monaghan make two changes to the side that lost to Cork a fortnight ago.

In Division Two, already promoted Tyrone also change goalkeepers with Niall Morgan replacing Mickey O’Neill.

There are three other changes. In defence Pádraig Hampsey and Rory Brennan are in for Ronan McNamee and Jonathan Monroe whereas Darren McCurry starts in attack instead of Conall McCann at right corner forward.
