Fermanagh have announced that senior manager Ryan McMenamin is stepping down from his position.

McMenamin took over at Fermanagh two years ago on a three-year term but has decided to cut that short after an early championship exit this year and relegation to Division 3 last season.

Last month it was Monaghan who put paid to their Ulster championship hopes, ultimately bringing to an end a difficult term for McMenamin which was severely hampered by Covid-19.

“Fermanagh County Committee would like to thank Ryan and his entire backroom team for all their hard work and commitment over the last two years,” said a Fermanagh statement.
