Donal Óg Cusack’s first involvement with the Clare hurlers was a winning one as he helped mastermind a 1-14 to 0-14 win over Cork in the Munster Senior Hurling League.

Clare led 0-08 to 0-06 at half time, and Shane O’Donnell’s second half goal proved decisive at Sixmilebridge as Davy Fitzgerald’s side managed to keep the Rebel County at arms length.
