Bohemians 6 Garda 0Bohemians began their bid for a third successive FAI Cup Final appearance in emphatic fashion at Dalymount Park, with Glen Crow scoring a hat-trick.
Crowe opened the scoring after 16 minutes when, following a sweeping move involving Paul Keegan and Simon Webb, he clipped the ball past goalkeeper Warren Fee.
On 26 minutes, Garda centre-back Stephen Brady was shown a red card for elbowing Crowe in the face. Three minutes later, Garda coneded a penalty, which was converted by Crowe, and soon after Bobby Ryan turned home a Webb cross.
Ryan was the provider for the fourth, slipping the ball through for Stephen Caffrey to shoot into the roof of the net.
Crowe notched his hat-trick in the 70th minute, side-footing in from six yards. David Morrison completed the scoring in the 79th minute.
