AMERICAN all rounder Gary Hall has had to pull out of the Leisureland International swim meet in Salthill next weekend because of injury. Hall was billed as a big attraction, second only to Michelle Smith, but he dislocated a knee while playing baseball in Phoenix, Arizona, earlier this week and has faxed the organisers regarding his unavailability.

The US star, who was scheduled to compete in four events at freestyle, butterfly and breaststroke, won two individual silver medals in Atlanta and also figured twice in successful US relay teams at the Games.
