Behind all the talk of a possible ownership transfer, Shelbourne manager Dermot Keely continues to work on the player market and yesterday confirmed new signings Eoin Heery, Stephen Gifford and Graham Doyle - all formerly of Home Farm/Everton.

Shelbourne have also added Richard Baker, brother of Dessie, and Davy Byrne, both from Stella Maris, as well as Mark Benson from Blackburn Rovers and Kris Winters, formerly of Nottingham Forest.

Rory Ginty, who made several first-team appearances for Crystal Palace last season, continues on a trial with view to a signing along with Canadian goalkeeper Michael Frank.
