SCHOOLS' INTERPROVINCIAL CHAMPIONSHIP Munster 10 Leinster 20:LEINSTER WERE crowned Schools' Interprovincial champions at Musgrave Park yesterday with an excellent performance. Their pack totally dominated the forward exchanges and this saw the majority of the game being played in Munster territory.

Outhalf Steve Crosbie put Leinster in front after seven minutes with a penalty and they had to wait until 28 minutes before increasing their tally. Crosbie set up Rory Kavanagh who made a great break and sent Conor McEllin in for a try which Crosbie converted.

Munster rallied and a penalty by Darragh McNamara opened their account. On the stroke of half-time Munster levelled with a well-worked try involving McNamara and Séamus Glynn with McNamara touching down and also converting.

Leinster restored their lead with a penalty by Crosbie on 55 minutes and close to time substitute Jack O’Neill rounded off a fine performance with a try which Crosbie converted.
