Fane Path followed up on his recent Galway Festival success when shouldering top-weight to victory in the Tyrrellspass Handicap Hurdle at a sun baked Kilbeggan last evening.

Held up by Greg Harford, Noel Meade's charge made smooth progress to lead approaching the last and despite an untidy leap came away to comfortably beat Sandra Louise and Anthony Ross.

Arthur Moore, who reported stable star, Klairon Davis in fine fettle since returning to training three weeks ago, saddled Parsee to land the Tullamore Mares Maiden Hurdle with the minimum of fuss after drawing clear for Conor O'Dwyer from the penultimate flight to score by 11 lengths from Burren Beauty.

Linda's Boy partnered by Jason Titley looked set to collect in the Joe Cooney Memorial Handicap Chase after jumping the final fence some three lengths clear but Shuil Na Mhuire rallied bravely for 20year-old, Joe Casey to collar the leader close home.
