As he enters his 48th year things are really swinging for Nicky Henderson and Mountain Storm looks set to join a hatful of winners sent out by him in his birthday week.

Based on his seasonal debut at Kempton last month, the Strong Gale gelding looks a snip in the Cheltenham Sponsorship Club National Hunt Novices' Hurdle today.

Ten winners in the last fortnight, including six this week, have boosted Henderson's campaign after a quiet start and Mountain Storm can add maintain the run in this 17-furlong event.

He advertised his well-being at Kempton when running Clinton to three lengths with the third Midas, a winner on his previous outing, 27 lengths further adrift.
