Cork 3-17 UCC 1-22:SUB GOALKEEPER Anthony Nash emerged as Cork's unlikely goalscoring hero as his last-gasp penalty saved the county side at Páirc Uí Rinn yesterday.
Cork trailed by two points in the closing seconds at the end of extra-time, when Cian McCarthy was brought down for the penalty, which Nash blasted to the net.
Despite two goals from newcomer Brian Hartnett, Cork had looked like losing in normal time but a Jamie Coughlan free forced extra-time.
