KERRY star, Dara O Cinneide, made all the difference by contributing five points in the University of Limerick's extra-time win when he returned to action in the Sigerson Cup quarter-final against Garda yesterday, following the reduction of his suspension for playing in New York.

At the end of normal time the score stood Garda 2-5, University of Limerick 0-11. But in the first half of extra-time, substitute Damian Donlon, from Roscommon, scored the goal which put Limerick on the road to victory.

Garda managed only three points in the first half of extra-time and failed to score in the second period, as Limerick ran out deserving winners.
