Phil Neal, perhaps best known at this stage for being Graham Taylor's chief yes-man during that painfully embarrassing Channel 4 documentry a few years' back, is tipped by the News of the World for the manager's job at Cork City. According to the Sunday Mirror, Niall Quinn has been told again that he must wait until the summer before discovering whether he is to be offered a new contract by Sunderland. And the campaign by big British clubs to destroy the international game is said to be on the verge of claiming another major scalp - Harry Kewell is set to quit the Socceroos according to just about everybody.
