Galway United 2 Finn Harps 2: STEPHEN PARKHOUSE struck from 25 yards to give Finn Harps their first point in seven Premier Division games as they shared the spoils with fellow strugglers Galway United at Terryland Park last night.

John Russell punished static defending by Harps to fire Galway into a deserved lead in the 29th minute.

However, Finn Harps were back on level terms within two minutes as Parkhouse fed Conor Gethins who took the ball around goalkeeper Gary Rogers to slot home.

Galway - still without a League of Ireland victory this season - hit the front once again on 10 minutes into the second half when James OShea capitalised on a slip by Finn Harps Mark McCulloch to drill home.
