SPANISH PRIMERA LIGA: Second placed Osasuna, down to 10 men after Francisco Punal was sent off in the 16th minute, raided the Bernabeu last night and came away with a point.

Savo Milosevic headed home in the 76th minute against the run of play and it looked like it was going to be enough to take all three points. The goal, however, only stirred Real into action and they grabbed an equaliser in the 83rd minute when Roberto Soldado tapped home after a knock down from Zidane. Soldado could have wrapped up the points in the final minute but saw his side-footed volley smack off the post and away to safety.

Real piled on the pressure but Osasuna held on for the draw which keeps them in second place, two points behind leaders Barcelona with Real a further six points adrift.

Meanwhile, Barcelona set a club record of 12 consecutive wins in all competitions with a 3-1 victory at Cadiz on Saturday. Winger Ludovic Giuly set Barca on their way in the 31st-minute and Cameroon striker Samuel Eto'o scored from the penalty spot just before the break and again four minutes into the second half.

ITALIAN SERIE A: Leaders Juventus arrived in Rome on Saturday having won 14 of their opening 15 matches, but ran into a slick and determined Lazio side that took a 16th-minute lead through Tommaso Rocchi. The visitors quickly equalised courtesy of a typically opportunistic goal by David Trezeguet, the French international's 14th in 14 Serie A appearances this season.

Second-placed Inter Milan made it five wins in a row and cut Juventus's lead to eight points with an easy 4-0 win over Reggina. It took Inter just two minutes to find the net. Home keeper Nicola Pavarini parried Dejan Stankovic's free kick and Ivan Cordoba poked home the loose ball. Strikers Obafemi Martins and Adriano extended their lead before half-time and David Pizarro wrapped up the result in stoppage time. AC Milan needed an Andriy Shevchenko penalty midway through the first half to get them on their way after 22 minutes.

Shevchenko scored again at the start of the second half and late strikes by Andrea Pirlo and Gilardino killed off the contest as Milan went third.
