Waterford Utd - 3 Shamrock Rovers - 3 Three goals down and apparently dead and buried, Shamrock Rovers conjured up an amazing fightback at the RSC last night.

United scored after seven minutes when Alan Reilly drove to the net. Six minutes later Neal Fenn steered the ball home. United's third came on 61 minutes when James Keddy struck from the penalty spot.

Three minutes later, Rovers' Trevor Molloy also scored from a penalty. Terry Palmer headed home Rover's second in the 81st minute and, three minutes later, Glen Fitzpatrick scored the dramatic equaliser.
