Irish internationals Jerry Flannery and Alan Quinlan are the latest high profile players to commit to Munster after both extended their contracts with the province today.
The news comes within a week of Paul O’Connell signing-on for another three years, while Flannery, 27, signed for the same period and Quinlan,31, for another two years.
Flannery stepped into the spotlight this season and displayed the type of form for Munster which is set to earn him his fifth Irish cap when Ireland take on Scotland at Lansdowne Road this Saturday.
Quinlan is a long-standing servant to the Munster cause - with 114 appearances to his name - and has 23 international caps since making his debut in 1996. Although, at present, all Quinlan can to is watch as he recovers from an injury he picked up during the province’s Heineken Cup tie against Sale Sharks earlier in the season.
Munster also bolstered their backroom staff by appointing Tony McGahan as defence coach and he takes over from Graham Steadman. The Australian, 34, arrives from Japanese side IBM and also worked as a coach to the Australian A and U19 sides.
