Joe Schmidt has called up Munster's Jack O'Donoghue into his Ireland squad for the final two Six Nations fixtures against Italy and Scotland.

22-year-old O’Donoghue has played across the backrow for his province this season and has been one of the few bright sparks during a difficult campaign for Anthony Foley’s side.

He is one of two uncapped players in the squad, with Connacht prop Finlay Belham also included.

O’Donoghue is the only new face in an otherwise unchanged squad as Ireland look to finish a disappointing campaign with two victories.
