Magners League team news: With older brother Rob still wrapped in cotton wool following his exertions on the high veldt, David Kearney will take the next step in his fledgling career at the RDS tomorrow night.

The 20-year-old will make his home debut when Leinster meet the Dragons in Ballsbridge having been named on the left wing in Michael Cheika’s side.

Cheika makes three personnel changes to the side beaten in Wales last week with Girvan Dempsey Stan Wright and Stephen Keogh making way for Kearney, Mike Ross and Sean O’Brien.

Replacements Gordon D’Arcy and newcomer Nathan Hines could see their first action since the Lions tour but fellow tourists Jamie Heaslip, Luke Fitzgerald and Brian O’Driscoll remain out of the frame.

New recruit Eoin Reddan is named on the bench after overcoming the injury that stalled his Leinster career.

Elsewhere, Ulster have been forced to reshuffle as they prepare to face the Ospreys. Injuries to Ryan Caldwell and Bryn Cunningham mean Ed O'Donoghue and Clinton Schifcofske start at the Liberty Stadium.

"You just have to look at the Ospreys squad to see what strength and depth they have. Pick any of the players and they have a strong team, so we know that Liberty Stadium is going to be a big ask,” said assistant coach Jeremy Davidson:

"We will go there primarily to look for a performance and hopefully we can pull something out. In that respect we are hoping to put a lot of things straight after the disappointment of last week.”
