Keith Earls is out of tonight's RaboDirect Pro12 game against the Glasgow Warriors at Scotstoun stadium after 'irritating' knee ligaments in training.
His place in the team will be taken by Casey Laulala while Cian Bohane joins the replacements.
The unbeaten league leaders have won 15 of their last 18 Pro12 matches and have won their last 10 games at Scotstoun in all competitions.
“Glasgow are top of the table and semi-finalists last season who probably should have been in the final,” said Munster coach Rob Penney yesterday. “They are the form team in the Rabo in at least the last nine months. It doesn’t get more difficult than playing them at their home ground and it’s as big as it gets in the Rabo at this time of the year.”
Meanwhile former All Black tighthead prop, John Afoa, will start for Ulster against Cardiff Blues this evening at Ravenhill in place of Declan Fitzpatrick who has failed a late fitness test. Ricky Lutton comes in on the bench as a front-row replacement.
