Ireland centre in full training ahead of Treviso’s visit to the Sportsground on Friday

Irish centre Robbie Henshaw is set to return for the province this weekend as Connacht face into their home game against Bennetton Treviso on Friday night.

Henshaw, who played a key role in Ireland’s World Cup challenge in Cardiff and London including the team’s win over France and defeat to Argentina in the quarterfinals, returned to full training this week and is available for selection.

John Cooney and Shane Delahunt have also made a return and are available for selection just a week before Connacht play their first round game of the European Challenge Cup against Enisei-STM in Krasnoyarsk in Siberia.

Connacht, however, must wait on medical report for Quinn Roux, who suffered a nasal fracture and was removed from the pitch in the closing stages of last Saturday's match. The South African will see a surgeon this week and is unavailable for the game against Treviso.

Tiernan O’Halloran, who won the man of the match award alst week, came off after 70 minutes with a head injury. Howerer, the 25-year-old has passed his HIAs and is available for selection this week.
