Ryan Strudwick will make his first start for Connacht in Friday's return meeting with Montpellier after being named in the second row this morning.
Connacht coach Michael Bradley has made four changes to his starting line-up with Strudwick earning his first start while Mark McHugh, Matt Lacey and John Fogarty come back into the side. Darren Yapp and Conor McPhillips have been named on the replacements bench.
Connacht breathed new life into their bid to make the Challenge Cup quarter-finals with a 26-13 win over the French outfit last weekend but still trail pool leaders Bath by five points with three games remaining.
Elsewhere, Leinster and Munster are due to name their squads for the next round of Heineken Cup matches later today.
