Ulster game against Scarlets postponed

Match likely to be played on either the first or second weekend in March

The match between Ulster and Scarlets scheduled to take place at Ravenhill this evening has been postponed.

Referee Leighton Hodges called the game off this afternoon after inspecting the pitch at the Belfast venue.

Hodges “deemed the pitch unplayable”, according to Ulster Rugby, who later said “the game is now likely to be played in March” on either Friday 7th or Friday 14th.

“Tickets for this evening’s game will be valid for the rearranged fixture,” a statement added.
